We’ve been cooped up for too long, so now it’s time to get out and about and have some summer fun at Walby Farm Park.
We want to make sure everyone has a super-duper adventure this summer holidays, so we’re hosting some special activities including Den Building, Foot Golf, Birds of Prey, Meet the Dinosaurs, National Festival Circus, Pond Dipping as well as our daily Farm Foam Parties (keep checking back for updates!) We will also be opening the gates to our Sunflower field during the holidays too!
Dates for your diary:
Week 1: Mon 25th – Sun 31st July – Den building and bug hotel
Go wild at Walby and help build the perfect bug hideaway or get hands-on and build your own Walby Den.
Week 2: Bird of prey & Pond Dipping
Mon 1st – Spectacular birds of prey flying displays daily
Tues 2nd – sat 6th – Come and see what’s hiding in Creature Creek with our fun Pond dipping sessions
Sun 7th – Another chance to meet more fantastic birds of prey
Week 3: Mon 8th Aug – Sun 14th Aug – Foot Golf / Frisbee Golf
Kick or fly – how will you score join the fun with our Foot Golf and Frisbee Golf sessions
Week 4: Mon 15th – Sun 21st Aug – Meet the Dinosaurs
The Dino’s are back – Join us for a ROAR-some day out!
Week 5: Mon 22nd Aug – Sun 28th Aug – Sunflowers
Pick-Your-Own Sunflowers as we open the Walby Farm Park Sunflower Field!
PLUS Sat 27th, Sun 28th Mon 29th – Circus
Hoola-hoop, Foot Juggler, Contortionist, Clowns! It’ll be the greatest show!
Week 6: Tues 30th Aug – Sun 4th Sept
Join us for the last days of summer and test out those Foot Golf and Frisbee Golf skills
If this wasn’t enough, you can have buckets of fun in our outdoor play areas, with go-karts, pedal tractors, sledge slides, Baaa-rmy Barrel Train, Walby’s Wacky golf and much more!
Do not fear, if the weather is against us in true British style, there is still loads to do indoors in Cumbria’s largest adventure play area and our new Milecastle62 Roman Fort, as well as all the farm animals in our Animal Barn. Why not meet the Guinea Pigs/Rabbits, try your hand at Pony Grooming, watch our fabulous Ferret Show, or cheer on your favourite in the Goat Racing?
After a fun packed day why not refuel and enjoy some home-cooked food in The Cowshed Café
