Our Animals

At Walby Farm Park, our animals are the heart and soul of our working farm. Our dedicated staff, many of whom are part of our livestock team, ensure the well-being and care of all our furry and feathered friends. As you explore the park, you’ll have the opportunity to meet, groom, handle, and simply enjoy the company of our farmyard favourites, along with some delightful and unique additions!

The farm comes alive with animals all around you as you play outdoors. Our Animal Paddocks and fields provide a picturesque backdrop for our resident alpacas, goats, cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, and lambs. It’s a true animal lover’s paradise!

For an even closer encounter, step into our Animal Barn. Here, you can interact with our friendly rabbits and guinea pigs. Throughout the day, we also host a range of activities that allow you to witness the excitement of goat racing, the thrill of the Fab Ferret show, the joy of pony grooming, and the seasonal feeding sessions with our adorable lambs (or the mischievous goats once the lambs grow big enough to pinch the bottle!).

To further enrich your understanding of our animals and the stewardship of our family farm, we offer seasonal tractor and trailer rides. Hop aboard and get up close to our magnificent Red Deer, while our knowledgeable guides provide fascinating insights into the care and preservation of our precious land.
