A visit to Walby Farm Park is a must for the school calendar whatever the season! There is an opportunity for children to meet and feed the animals, encounter the countryside for themselves and explore the links with the food we eat and our beautiful surroundings.
With our NEW range of Educational Packages now available, Walby Farm park is now able to deliver educational visits from Key Stage 1 and 2 through to GCSE and ‘A’ Level.
New for 2011 we are now offering maths activity days, a fun way to learn mathematics at key stage 1 and 2.
Whatever your educational requirements the education team at Walby Farm Park are here to work with your school to deliver a fun, exciting and interactive learning experience.
As well as hands-on learning there is a chance for some fresh air & exercise! If the weather’s wet then our large indoor play area for 4-14 year olds can provide some under cover entertainment with an under-5’s soft play area for your younger groups.
We have also been awarded the ‘LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM’ QUALITY BADGE
We are happy to provide our CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) trained guides and some exclusive demonstrations to fit in with your requirements for formal or informal teaching.
