Walby Farm Park is the all-weather attraction on Hadrian's Wall!  Opened on 5th July 2008 we were voted 'Best Visitor Attraction 2008' by Cumbrian Newspapers Group Readers and awarded Cumbria Tourism's 'Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2009'.   Walby Farm Park is a great day out for the whole family, conveniently located just 4 miles from Carlisle, you'll find indoor and outdoor fun on this family farm.  With Cumbria's largest indoor play area, exciting outdoor play areas, lots of animal friends and a nature trail too, you really will be spoilt for choice!

For those all important refreshments try the Curly Tails Cafe, open from 10 til 5 every day, we serve delicious home-cooked food.  For weekends and holidays there's also the Piglet's Pantry serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and sandwiches.  Choose a light bite or something tasty and filling, there's plenty for the kids too at Walby Farm Park!

Cumbria Tourism winners joined forces during last October half-term to show visitors to the County it’s best attractions. The Silverband Falconry Display Team, based near Appleby-in-Westmorland, won the Cumbria Tourism Awards ‘Tourism Experience of the Year 2009’ and brought their fabulaous Falconry Display,  'Encounters with Owls' and 'Mystical Moments with Magical Monsters' to the county's 'Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2009'.  There was an opportunity to  meet eagles, owls, reptiles, a giant millipede and a vulture to name but a few.
